Vons Deals & Delivery app for iPhone and iPad

I dont order delivered groceries so I am not reviewing order delivery. I use the app for coupons. I add all the coupons to my account and then purchase normally. Sometimes I look up specific products to see if there is a coupon or offer. The search function works fairly well, better than "shop your way" which has absolutely none for their coupons. I found a glitch. I had added some coupons to my account and put those items on my list individually. The app does not remove items from yours list when you purchase them which would be nice, so unless you remove them they just stay there forever. The list function is a pain, no way to clear the list and start over. Anyway, I decided to delete the list and it deleted the added coupons I wanted to add to the list. I thought I would delete the list and start over adding my items that I wanted and needed back in. Dont do it! The coupons disappear and you cant even see them in the app even if they remain added. A search wont show them up either, they just disappear from view. Hard to know what to purchase when you cant see it. Not sure how you can remove items from the list without losing the visual on the coupon. They all came back a week later. Seriously. I wish they had an "add all button" so that I could just add all the coupons and look up what I need when I need too. Also I HATE that every time I open the app and add coupons it makes me reselect my preference. I dont want to add the coupons to my list and Im tired of being asked. If I have to close the app for a phone call or something it makes me "save" my preferences again even if I just go right back to the app. That is completely annoying. Preferences should be saved, period! The reality is Im rating this app pretty highly because it does what it says it will do, it applies coupons to my account and I get the discount. It has problems, but it is way better than the Sears/Kmart app which doesnt even do that basic function making it utterly useless. Consumers need to be vocal about this stuff so companies stop cheating their customers. Vons prices are extremely high so at least these discounts help. I wish I could make them lower their prices. I feel sorry for those not using the app because Vons is really making money on the people who dont join their club.

I dont get why there are so Many negative Nancies out there Giving this app a bad review. I save A LOT with this app. Often times I save more than I would have at target or Walmart by utilizing this app App makers: you should have a total of savings kept per customer

The app needs some fixing. I cannot add Just For You or Customized Deal coupons to my card. Please fix the service problem!

Truly a must have no more cutting paper coupons theyre all in app, ditch the plastic card use phone number and save points towards gas-my fav part. Over 2yrs now no probs w/it. Highly recommend an it keeps you out of drive thru junk that kills!

Nice update. Fails to sync anything or work at all. Took me 5 minutes just to get logged in. Fail

But lately under the special personalized coupons it states that I can only use those coupons if I live in northern CA or Nevada. The funny thing is that I dont live in neither of those place but in southern CA. It would be great to be able to use personalized coupons where I currently live or at least offer ones for my area.

I used this app all the time, especially to make my shopping list and load my personalized coupons onto my Vons Club card. This app was very good! The great thing about it was that I was able to email my shopping list, so I could print it out from my email. Now with the recent updates, the email feature is gone, and I have to now sign onto the Vons website if I want to email my shopping list, which is not even synched up with the list I created on the app. If it aint broke, dont fix it!

Ive used this app since it appeared in the stores and Ive always loved it. I suspect youve outsourced your software engineering and quality assurance and I have a hint: cancel the contract and BEG your former engineers to come back. As of now, cant delete anything from the list and Ive got about 20 entries for canned pineapple. Your specials designed for me at MY Vons , where Ive been shopping since it opened in the 1960s, are NOWHERE to be found. I lost a bunch of gas credits in the update before this one, which didnt thrill me...this is almost too much trouble. I wonder if Ralphs has a good program?

Would like to store my Vons card with all of my other cards in Apple wallet

Without Apple Wallet Pass this app is useless. Just do it!! Save us time and make our life easier.
